Camp plymouth is in Plymouth, CT. Established in 1939, the camp has 500 acres of land that is home to approximately 2,000 scouts a summer. This includes a Cub Scout Day Camp and a Resident Boy Scout Camp. The 1400 Boy Scouts who come stay in 2 man wall tents, sleep on beds with mattresses and have 3 square meals served daily in the Dining Hall. The camp boasts it's own lake, so swimming and boating are extra fun. There are 600 Cub Scouts who spend their fun filled summer days at the Cub Scout Day Camp.

Camp plymouth offers a variety of programs that challenge Scouts, Patrols and Troops to help make summer camp a special memory. Mornings offer Scouts and troops an opportunity to learn and experience new things. Troops will want to take advantage of the Archery and Rifle Ranges with instruction and troop shoots. Perhaps the Nature Center with its trails and gardens or Scoutcraft for cooking, pioneering, orienteering and wilderness survival. Of course the Waterfront is open for instructional swimming and boating (water included).

Afternoons in camp offer Merit Badges in all areas, like Camping, Whitewater, Swimming, Environmental Science, Leatherwork, Archery and Rifle Shooting, plus open times at the shooting ranges (checkout the water dunk) and waterfront. Take out a sailboat, kayak, canoe, funyak, sandpiper or rowboat. On second thought, maybe just go fishing! Camp-wide activities include a Sunday Night Campfire, Parents Night & Campfire on Wednesday night, Camp-wide Game on Friday morning and a Court of Honor on Saturday. For Scouts 13 and older, how about Mountain Biking or learning to rock climb on our Climbing Tower or Shotgun Shooting and Black Powder? For Scouts over 14 how about Project COPE? In this program you will spend over 15 hours during the week learning team work, communication and reliance on our 14 low course elements and 14 high course elements including the 685ft Zip Line.
